After being on some other websites for about a year, I am making the choice to fully move into neocities. What I mean by this is that I will be deleting or at least removing my presence on all other platforms. Over time, I have noticed that I was starting to worry about things that shouldn't matter such as likes and favorites. This and other issues with the websites (Inconsistent content moderation, botted comments and engagement, confusing policies and the pressure to monetize my work) have convinced me to take these sites out of my life. However, this does not mean that I do not value some of the experiences I had. Having a place to convienently post and veiw my work made improving musch easier. My plan is now to move everything I was doing online here. Please note that this will take a while because I need to come up with some sort of age verification that respects people's data and privacy. I might find another site to make this transition smoother for the time being, but my end goal is to have everything here.
Sorry that my first review got out a little late. Life and briefly forgetting that I have a neocities got in the way. Putting all of that to the side however, I am thrilled to anounce my first (hopefully monthy or bi-monthly) Is it Trash Review, Mega Man Timelines #0!! I am also adding a links section to this website so that you can see where else I am active. This way, you can see my artworks while I make the galleries here.
I haven't really been on neocities for a while. Work has been pretty crazy because of some recent changes in my career path and college being a hassle in general. I hope that I will have the oppurtunity to work on this website more consistently this year. Currently, I am working on my first review for "Is it Trash?". My plan is to have it out by mid August at latest.
I know it seems silly to be exited about such a small amount of veiws, but the idea of 100 whole human beings taking interest in something I made is awesome.
I've finally decided to make a website. I was debating with myself for months on if I should do it or not. On one hand, I would finally have a place to share my creations, but on the other hand, having any form of online presence can be daunting. My final descision was to go through with making one because I learned that having a website is more like having a digital, interactable portfolio than it is like social media which I strongly dislike. I hope that this project will be worthwhile.
